Show Abstract

Abstract: Network management is a sufficiently general term to incorporate numerous things. Network management is the way towards overseeing, checking, and controlling the conduct of a network. Wireless sensor networks pose unique challenges for network management that make traditional network management techniques impractical to implement for wireless sensor network. A network management system designed for WSN should provide a set of management functions that integrate configuration, operation, administration, security and maintenance of all elements of sensor network which must be carefully multiplexed by the operating system and protocols that are efficient in energy consumption and allocation of computational needs while discovering neighbours, forming the networks, delivering the data and fault recovery. This paper gives an extensive overview of various network management models and protocols as well as the broad range of specialized operating systems for wireless sensor networks which plays a major role in effective management of wireless sensor network resources.

Show Abstract

Abstract: In the rapid changing world, human beings need to develop a sense of ethics to conserve the environment as the world suffers from serious environmental threats. In the present study, investigator reviewed several research articles related to the environmental ethics. The result of the study revealed the average level of environmental ethics among the higher secondary students. Further, significant difference was found among them with regard to Subject of Study, Management of School, and Type of Family, but no significant difference was found with respect to Gender. The study suggest for initiation of curricular and co-curricular activities at the school level to create environmental awareness and environmental sensitivity among students for sustainable life in future. It was concluded that the environmental ethics of higher secondary students is at average level. It is recommended that the Environmental Ethics of the higher secondary students should be improved through their teaching.

Show Abstract

Abstract: The current experimental study compares the working performance of different solar still (Single slope, Double slope, pyramid) using various percentage of Al2O3 nanofluids. The experimental works are conducted in each solar still separately using same size (1m x 0.7m x 0.1m) basin with different concentration (0.1%, 0.2% and 0.3%) of Al2O3 nanofluids on volume basis with 15kg of water. It is noted that 0.3% volume concentration of Al2O3 nanofluids used in SSSS, DSSS, PSS gives the maximum productivity of 3.150 litres, 3.360 litres, 3.520 litres per day respectively. The present work concluded that the use of Al2O3 nanofluids considerably enhance the heat transfer rate and evaporation rate, hence the yield is improved.
