Experimental Investigation of Coated and Uncoated Groundnut Shell Powder Reinforced Composite

Abstract: Fiber-reinforced polymer composites have played a dominant role for a long time in a variety of applications for their high specific strength and modulus. The fiber which serves as reinforcement in reinforced plastics may be synthetic or natural. Past studies show that only synthetic fibers such as glass, carbon, etc., have been used in fiber-reinforced plastics. Although glass and other synthetic fiber-reinforced plastics possess high specific strength, their fields of application are very limited because of their inherent higher cost of production and hazards during production. In this present work, the effect of naturally available filler material (Benzoyl chloride treated and untreated ground nutshell powder) on the Mechanical properties of epoxy resin had been investigated. Specimens were prepared with different volume proportion (15%, 25%, 35% & 45%) of groundnut shell powder in epoxy resin using a vacuum bag molding method. Tests have been conducted to determine its mechanical properties.

Abstract: One of the major research topics in vehicle security part is the vehicle monitoring and alarm system. Many project either focus on how to keep safe a vehicle from stealers using detection system or alarm systems. This system presents the design and development of a boost vehicle security system that help to overcome the unintentional events that undergo in vehicles. The common unintentional events that occurs in vehicle are deliberately cease to think of to turn off headlight, forget to close window and door, and accidentally Locking someone in your car, and you just forgot of them. The main aim of the project is that to solve this unintentional event. This system proposes the design and construction of an advanced vehicle security system using PIR sensor, button switch and mobile communication network. The proposed project consists of both hardware and software parts. Hardware components include sensors like PIR sensors, button switch software components include a mobile app.

Abstract: Agriculture plays a vital role in Indian economy. The reason behind reduction in the productivity of agricultural is weeds. Weed removal is serious problem faced by the farmers that will reduce the farmer interest to continue cultivation. The main objective of this paper is to construct and develop a mechanical weeder to provide the best opportunities for cultivation. The working of this project is depends on the power transmission. This equipment is driven by the mechanical energy which moves blades to cut the weeds. The design is simple and easy to operate. This equipment is designed to minimize the human effort, to reduce the cost and provide the efficient work output. This weeder will fulfill the requirements of the marginal farmers.
